Covering up with Collectif

Collectif is one of my favorite companies, I find their items to be of high quality and reasonably priced. I own several articles of clothing from each of their lines and I haven’t been disappointed once. I purchased a pair of denim dungarees last winter which I reviewed here. They practically became that seasons uniform.

I purchased this second pair about a month ago and was just as impressed. The legs are wider than expected but these are so cozy. At 5’7″ these drag the floor a little bit, but that seems to be the norm with wide-legged pants. I love that they don’t sag at my short waist. This pair, unlike the last, do not have general metal fasteners, I much prefer the way the buttons look on these. They are comfortable, durable, and very flattering. I love the heart shaped bib, and the hearts stitched in the pockets as well. Finished off with a side zipper, these dungarees have become my go to on cold casual days.

Knowing what to expect from this company, and my experience with their dungarees thus far, I decided to invest in a couple pairs of overalls that were more dressy. I managed to snag the Gertrude overalls in two patterns during the annual 50% off sale.

As with the dungarees, they hit my waist where they should. I love the matching belt, button detail, and pockets. These overalls zip at the back and are easy to get in and out of. They are an appropriate length, and the cuffed legs are super cute. The material is soft and comfy. I’m very happy with both pairs of overalls. I’m a size UK 16 and these fit true to size.
